 1 liter of whole milk
2 heaping tablespoons cornstarch or cornmeal
A teaspoon of vanilla essence
250 g. of sugar
2 eggs

The first step in preparing coconut ice cream will be to cook the milk in a saucepan along with the vanilla. On the other hand, you should dissolve the cornstarch or cornmeal with a little cold milk and add it to the saucepan.

Go stirring the mixture to integrate all the ingredients and then add the grated coconut and when it begins to boil reduce heat need to avoid burning and keep mixing with a spoon.

It should be noted that you can choose to buy a natural coconut, split it and grate it, or choose to buy it already grated.
